Cole Tucker and Vanessa Hudgens have confirmed their engagement. The High School Musical actress, 34, posted a picture of the gorgeous diamond ring she was wearing on Friday morning on Instagram to confirm engagement rumours with the US baseball player. Hudgens posted pictures from the proposal, which appeared to take place in Paris with caption, “YES, We couldn’t be happier. “After being seen holding hands in Los Angeles in November 2020, the couple first fueled romance rumours.
Hudgens acknowledged that she was the one who made contact with the 26-year-old Colorado Rockies baseball player when they first spoke in a Zoom meditation group chat. She remarked on The Drew Barrymore Show, her friend introduced her to a Zoom meditation group. “There’s a GIF in the group chat of a baseball player and he’s sliding onto a base. And I thought it was a joke, so I just responded, ‘hot’. And then I get on the Zoom and I’m like, ‘who is that?’ And I found him and we started talking and yeah, it’s wild that we found each other over Zoom”.
She admitted, “If I want something or someone, I’m going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like,’Hey, it was nice to meet you’. So I think there is no shame in making the first move”. “Shortly after the pair started dating, they made their romance Instagram-official on Valentine’s Day.
Hudgens, who rose to popularity in 2006 due to the Disney Channel film, previously dated Elvis actor Austin Butler for nine years. Early in 2020, the duo made their shocking separation public. Before that, until 2010, she was famously linked to her HSM co-star Zac Efron.
